This week M2 went on camp to fox glacier we had a wonderful time
Glowworms
On the first night of camp we went to see the glowworms every time you thought you saw one you had to turn off your torch and look not touch the glow worms glow so little they are usually by or hiding in trees. If you touched them they would fade away and appear into nothing so you couldn’t see them in the dark. You went in your activity groups to look at them one group by one slowly every group went down the tracks trying not to touch the small creatures.
The Glaciers
The second day we went to the glaciers we walked all the way from the Top Ten Holiday Park to the glacier it took ages to walk down it started to get colder as you got nearer to the glacier we stopped to have a lunch break after the lunch break we kept walking across little creeks to get there then there was a big hill it was very steep.Me and Madisyn slowly heaved ourselves up the hill puffing and panting then when we were nearly up me and Madisyn started to run we ran to the
bit that was fenced off to look at the glacier. It was very cold now we had gotten closer to the glacier we had big drinks of water and some food just to get us heaps of energy to walk back down to meet Leah and kylee we ran down the hill past all the rocks and past all the little creeks stepping on stone by stone quickly we ran up a little hill then down the other side and up to the car park to have lunch. We sat down on rocks eating after we ate all the bags that were heavy got to get their bags taken back in the van we walked down to the swing bridge. and went across jumping across some people got freaked out because my dad was putting all his weight on the bridge by jumping Caitlin k hates swing bridges every time she sees one she freaks out so my dad was jumping swinging it to side to side putting heaps of weight on it.
Spotlight
We played spotlight on the second night and i got caught once and i had a turn summer and kash were the loudest singing across the field and got in more than once I was hiding down the back of the field with trees by myself i did like 16 quart wheels and no one noticed me jazmine face planted on the grass and madisyn and jazmine were rolling on the grass.
I am looking forward to camp next year
