Literacy and Reading Reflection T3 W9

Be an Explorer:

This week for be an Explorer we had to choose out of famous Explorers i choose Jacques Cartier. We had to make a Slide with 3 questions and 3 Answers her is mine. 

Punctuation group / Miss Panther 
This week with Miss Panther for our Punctuation week we had to Learn how Mummies are Made by showing our Explanation and Drawing. 

Reading / Miss Leigh 
With Reading this week with Miss Leigh we had no DLO but we had to make a slide telling about what we have learnt this term about Literacy Elements. And we had to Notes which was explaining about Literacy Elements too. Here is Mine 

Literacy Reflection T3 W8

How to be a Explorer:
This week we did more of how to be an explorer Miss Panther taught other people how to use Google maps so she taught us on the first slide was Historical sites which was google maps. I choose The Eiffel tower and The Pyramids of Giza. To also help us we used Earth picker which is a app that you use so say you are in the world somewhere and you have to look for clues, which could be Street names, Road signs and which side are they driving on. 

Reading Reflection:
This week with Miss Leigh for our Reading follow up we did Why is there 7 days in a week on an Explanation burger drawing. We also did a Word cloud of our favourite book mine was charlie and the chocolate factory. 

Writing Reflection:
This week for Writing we did what are mummies we will be writing about them next week but i thought id give you a hint of what we are doing. Here is the site we were learning off. LINK

How to be an Explorer 
This week for Literacy we have still been doing how to be a Explorer but this week we did highlighting there was Yellow highlighting for why they explored and all the time periods in blue and Any problems they had in Red and positives in green! I buddied up with Katelynn here is a LINK to our doc!

Writing-Explanation 
For how to be an Explorer we did some things around it our household machine / toaster we had to put were we are up to and our Next step Learning. Here is mine 

Reading 
For Reading this week we did an Explanation burger we had to write in the Explanation burger about the story. The story was A wife for Te Ra. Here is mine.
