For literacy today with our Boy in The striped Pyjamas topic, we had to write a diary entry from Bruno's point of view. I decided to make mine look like an old diary entry.
Hello Ruby!My name is Emily and I am a student in M1 at Grey Main School!I really like this post because you had a really interesting topic and I like how you made it look like it was an old times diary. Why did your class do these diary posts? This reminds me of 'Dear Dumb Diary',a book I read. Maybe next time you could tell us a bit more about why and how you did this. Best of luck, Emily.
Kia Ora Emily, We have been doing the diary entry as part of our Boy in The Striped Pyjamas novel Study if you look on some other posts of mine you will see more. Next time I will try and add a more detailed description. From Ruby
Kia ora Ruby I LOVE this book as it has strong messages that I think we should be aware of and make sure this never happens again. I love the presentation of your diary entry. I agree with Bruno...I would hate being taught just history and geography as I love reading, maths and learning languages the best. I think the phrase is 'laughing hysterically' not 'historically.' Thanks for sharing Miss Lagan
