Numeracy Reflection T3 Week 9
Study Ladder:
This week we have been doing rotations and for one of the rotations was Study Ladder. On Study Ladder I have been doing Area and Perimeter Activities Here are some.
Problem Solving:
This week for Problem solving we did more work on our slide show I finished some slides so here is my favorite slide.

This week for Area and Perimeter Snake my Group / Jazmine, Levi B, Ry, Richard, Have been working on our Area and Perimeter snake for numeracy. Here are the best finished ones.

Be an Explorer:
Punctuation group / Miss Panther
This week with Miss Panther for our Punctuation week we had to Learn how Mummies are Made by showing our Explanation and Drawing.
Reading / Miss Leigh
With Reading this week with Miss Leigh we had no DLO but we had to make a slide telling about what we have learnt this term about Literacy Elements. And we had to Notes which was explaining about Literacy Elements too. Here is Mine
This week for be an Explorer we had to choose out of famous Explorers i choose Jacques Cartier. We had to make a Slide with 3 questions and 3 Answers her is mine.

This week with Miss Panther for our Punctuation week we had to Learn how Mummies are Made by showing our Explanation and Drawing.

Numeracy Reflection T3 Week 8
Numeracy
For Numeracy we have been doing Area and perimeter still my group is Jazmine, Ry, Levi B and Richard. Here are some tasks we have been working on through class time.
Literacy Reflection T3 W8
How to be a Explorer:
This week we did more of how to be an explorer Miss Panther taught other people how to use Google maps so she taught us on the first slide was Historical sites which was google maps. I choose The Eiffel tower and The Pyramids of Giza. To also help us we used Earth picker which is a app that you use so say you are in the world somewhere and you have to look for clues, which could be Street names, Road signs and which side are they driving on.
Reading Reflection:
This week with Miss Leigh for our Reading follow up we did Why is there 7 days in a week on an Explanation burger drawing. We also did a Word cloud of our favourite book mine was charlie and the chocolate factory.
Writing Reflection:
This week for Writing we did what are mummies we will be writing about them next week but i thought id give you a hint of what we are doing. Here is the site we were learning off. LINK

Big day out
Big Day Out
On Thursday Mamaku went to the Big day out where you get to go to the Movie's, West land Recreation center and the pool. If you did all your home learning you would get special treats like an Ice cream, Popcorn, first on the hydro slide and first in the pool you also got to take a friend to be a VIP with you.
At School
When we first got to school when the bell rung we raced into the classroom and heard where we were going. I had to go in the van with Jazmine, Cleo, Reagan, Ella, Katelin, Kaede, Hannah, Katelynn, Kyra and Lara. All the other students went in the bus.
At the Movies
We went through town and got to the Movies where we were going to see Pete's dragon. We got settled down in the Movie theater the movie started everyone got really emotional and started crying but i didn't. The movie was about a little boy called Pete he had a car crash and his mum and dad died so he ran out into the woods and meet Elliot the dragon, then a man tried to hunt Elliot down. We got an Ice cream after the movies.
The Recreation center
At the Recreation center we were put into teams to play the following sports Basketball, Cricket, Soccer and Badminton. My Team was Jazmine, Cleo, Reagan, Ella, Kaede and Katelin. We won Basketball, Cricket and Badminton (We lost soccer!)
Swimming
Since I was one of the VIP's so we got to go first on the Hydro slide first and in the pool first but on the hydro slide there was a rule you are only aloud 1 person at a time! So mostly i was in the pool.

Little Garden
Little Garden If you have been to New World and spent over $40 dollars you will get a Little Garden. A little Garden is something you can make you have a pellet and you put it into a cup then pour water over it and it grows you need to wait overnight for it to crumble then you put it in their pot and put their name tag on. I have already made some and put them in our Greenhouse. You can make up to 24 Little Gardens. Step 1 you put the pellet into a cup and tip a little amount of water into it and it will grow.
Step 2 You wait overnight and in the morning it will be all crumbly so you put the soil/plant into the pot and half way you put the paper then keep filling.
Step 3 Put the plant in a sunny spot and water it. On the packet it will tell you how long it takes to sprout.
Step 4 Put the Name tag on the plant.
There you have it now you know where to get Little Gardens and how to make them.
