Book Review: All the Bright Places.

Image result for all the bright places

Just recently I have read this book and here is my review and a small summary of it.

Book: All the Bright Places
Author: Jenifer Niven
Genre: Young Adult, Romance & Fiction
Main Character: Theodore Finch and Violet Markey.
Rating: 5/5 Loved it!
Summary All the Bright Places is about two teens with depression. Violet’s sister died in a car accident the previous year and Violet blames herself for it. Finch has a long history of acting out and having sudden extreme mood swings. It is heavily implied that he is also bi-polar. At the start of the book both teens have suicidal thoughts, but Finch manages to talk Violet off of a ledge and Violet becomes Finch’s new reason for living. From there the story becomes about their budding romance as well as their personal growth. They learn about themselves and each other while exploring the hidden wonders of Indiana.

End of Term.

Today is the last day of Term 2. I am very happy for 2 weeks break because I have lots of basketball training and camps leading up to an U15s tournament in Blenheim! I really enjoyed this term because of all of the fun trips we have had like Hanmer Camp and sports stuff and to finally get all of the School Applications out of the way. But next year I am looking forward to Wearable arts in W10 - W11 , My speech in W1 and PrEP and applying for police and starting ASB netball!

Numeracy

This Week we have been learning all about graphs like pie graphs, bar graphs, pictographs, line graphs, Function pots and Stem & Leaf. To conclude that topic we had to do a DLO about one of the graphs here is mine.

Probability

In Numeracy we have been learning about Probability. The first time we practised it was with coloured blocks and Miss Power placed them into a bag, Miss Power pulled out the block 20 times and there was only 8 blocks in the bag. We had to guess what colours the blocks were it ended up being 4 green 3 pink and 1 red. Here is my DLO about probability.
